With Barbara Johnson, Gay Liberty and Jody Severance
• JANUARY: Annual UFO Challenge (Un-Finished Object).
Susie O’Connor challenges us to get out one of our favorite UFO’s and bring it in for all to see the progress. Let’s challenge ourselves to complete this project before for the UFO Reveal in October, or even for the Quilt Show in August.
• FEBRUARY: Joan Musick presenting ‘Happy Scrappy’
On the subject of FABRIC SCRAPS, do they make you happy, or puzzled, even frustrated? After all, they are just leftovers, right? Let’s answer these questions to elevate the ‘Happy’ response: Which scraps do I keep? What is a good way to organize scraps? How do I choose which scraps to put together into a pattern? We will see many examples of quilts made from “leftovers.” Ultimately, which will make you happier? Using up those scraps, or having a beautiful quilt that is unique and useful? Maybe both! So, come on, let's get Happy Scrappy!
